Ecology Club.
The club responsible for increasing the school’s awareness on issues relating to the environment. Its goal is to initiate a program that promotes environmental change.
TLE Club.
This club, headed by the librarian, accepts students who have passion for books and other printed materials inside the library.
Sports League.
Those students who excel in sports join this club. This club develops skills in sports and camaraderie among its members.

Art Club.
Students with passion in the arts can join this club which aims to develop skills in drawing, designing and other artistic works. They are responsible in stage decoration during events and programs of the school.
The Choir.
The club which aims to hone the musical skills specially in singing through participation in schools activities like singing in mass, programs and competitions during school events.
The Light.
It is the official student publication of Southgate Institute of Malvar. It aims to provide the high school community relevant and balance news reports and accurate information about the current events and features concerning the school and the nation. It aims to provide a venue for the development of the writing, reporting and journalistic skills of its members.
The Honor Society.
Students maintaining a grade of 85 and above in every quarter is automatically a member of this organization. Members participate in peer tutoring and given merit or extra points if the assigned tutee excelled on the next quarter.
Rhythmic Movers.
This club is committed to develop and to hone students’ abilities to execute artistic, creative and rhythmic expression through various dances. Members are given opportunity to showcase their talents in every event and program of the school.
The Thespians.
Students who are interested in any aspect of theatre arts are encouraged to join this club. Membership provides the opportunity to explore all aspects of theatre production which includes acting, directing, and designing. It also gives members access to workshops and rehearsals.
Drum and Lyre Band.
Students who are inclined to musical instruments and dancing the rhythm can be a member of this organization. Members of this group are given opportunities to showcase their skills and talents in in- campus events as well as in off- campus competitions.
